Welcome in Missiones

Welcome in the State of Missiones, it's at the border with Brasil. At the north of the state you've got the Iguazu Falls. Missiones' name came from the Jesuit Mission. This is a model of a typical mission in this part of Argentina during the age of the Spanish Ampire.
A day the pope decide to separate the earth in two parts, one for Spain, the other for Portugal. The line pass right in the state of Missiones. The king of Portugal decide to expulse the jesuits because they helped the native to became free from slavery. So the army destroyed all the missions.
Now you can visit the ruin of San Ignacio, which have been rebuild in the past feww years.
Those pictures come from my own.
